What is Kilifi known for?
Kilifi is a small, slow-paced town on Kenya's north coast, about 60 km north of Mombasa, built around a broad, mangrove-lined tidal creek. Dhows, sailing boats and kayaks share the water, and the Kilifi Creek Sailing Club is one of East Africa's oldest. October to March brings the warmest, driest weather for beach, snorkelling and sailing.
