Airports
Most international visitors arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, known as NBO. Moi International Airport in Mombasa, MBA, serves the coast directly. Domestic safari flights leave mostly from Wilson Airport in Nairobi, a separate airport from JKIA.
Road and air transfers
Road transfers between parks run in dedicated safari vehicles with a driver-guide, and the journey times are real: Nairobi to the Maasai Mara is roughly 5 to 6 hours by road, or about 45 minutes by air. Bushking builds these travel times into your itinerary rather than treating them as an afterthought.
The Standard Gauge Railway links Nairobi and Mombasa comfortably, and it is a pleasant option for guests adding a coast stay to their trip.
Staying connected
Safaricom has the widest network coverage in Kenya. Tourist SIMs and eSIMs are sold at the airport, and you will need your passport to register one. Most lodges have Wi-Fi; remote camps sometimes do not, which many guests come to see as part of the experience rather than a drawback.
